Forage is a web app that helps conscientious shoppers find the products and businesses we can feel good about supporting. For example: wanting to know where to get something you need that’s Made in America, or even closer to home? Searching for fair trade, organic, or vegetarian options? Looking to support black-owned businesses in your area? Check Forage first, and see if it can save you all that time you would have spent hunting around. You may even discover a local treasure you never knew existed!
Once you find what you need, you can interact with the businesses individually, or use the app's shopping cart to order from any number of businesses from one place, securely. The businesses you love can then fill your order any number of ways that you specify, including COVID-safe delivery and curbside pickup in many cases.
Forage was created by a startup called Entropy Nemesis, based in downtown Greensboro, North Carolina. Forage is new and growing, with more ethically-sourced items and locally-owned, independent business pages being added all the time.
